Great ways to promote your site

Search Engines

Guess What! If you build it they won't come! They have to be able to find it! Submit url to all search engines. Most search engines have a link called submit url, add site or something similar. Follow the directions for each search engine. Some search engines now rank on link popularity be sure to add your url to our links page. (links will be back online August 15)

Local Directories

Important!! You will get traffic from your chamber of commerce site, and all local directories and portals, almost all are free however some may request a link back. Use local banner exchanges. My local real estate site is in the top 10 in Yahoo and other engines but I get just as many  people coming from the local directories.

Links are free. They have a rating system to determine who gets the exclusive link for a specific community (it's competitive). You can pay to get a larger bold link and not have to compete for the exclusive listing. Great site - apply for their award! They have a huge list of places to submit your real estate site. Check it out!!!

   International Real Estate Digest

Definitely list your site here - they get lots of traffic. Links are state specific. You can get an enhanced link for $. I can't say that I always agree with their rating system, there are a few with excellent ratings that do not even exist any more, but never the less it is a site you should be on. All in all they do a GREAT job for REALTORS®
